Kazuhiro Yoshida received his Ph.D. from Kyoto University in 2003 under the supervision of Professor Tamio Hayashi. From 2000 to 2003, he was a recipient of JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists. Thereafter, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Scripps Research Institute under the guidance of Professor Kim D. Janda (2003-2004). He became an assistant professor at Chiba University in 2004, was promoted to associate professor in 2009, and promoted to full professor in 2024. His main research interest lies in transition metal catalyzed reactions.
