Kazuhiro Yoshida received his Ph.D. from Kyoto University in 2003 under the supervision of Professor Tamio Hayashi. From 2000 to 2003, he was a recipient of JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists. Thereafter, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Scripps Research Institute under the guidance of Professor Kim D. Janda (2003-2004). He became an assistant professor at Chiba University in 2004 and was promoted to associate professor in 2009. His main research interest lies in transition metal catalyzed reactions.
