統計モデルの多くは学説・理論を基に構築され、データへのあてまりでモデルの妥当性を検証している。一方で、逆のアプローチとしてデータを基に適切なモデルを探索するアプローチも考えられる。本研究では多目的最適化法(進化アルゴリズム)を用いてモデルスペースを探索し、複数の適切なモデル群を識別する手法を紹介する。本手法を用い、複数の適切なモデル群を比較することによって、仮説生成が促進されることが期待できる。
