【課題】燃料と潤滑油の混合液滴に起因する低速高負荷時の異常燃焼を抑制する。
【解決手段】ピストン40のトップランド42に、ピストン頂部41側からトップリング溝43側に向かって外周面がテーパ状に縮径された逆反り部48を設け、ガソリンオイル混合液滴がクレビス部60から燃焼室2の中心側に飛散することを制限して相対的に温度の低いシリンダボア1cの内壁面側に導き、燃焼室空間での着火開始を抑制してLSPIの発生を防止する。
