© 2019 SID. We reported Ag deposition-based electrochromic device which showed reversible color change from transparent to chromatic coloration, black and silver-mirror In a single deduce. In this study, we newly enabled this device to achieve green coloration and analyzed relationship between optical properties and morphology of silver nanoparticles at four chromatic states.

We have already designed a novel multicolor electrochromic (EC) device having hybrid capacitor electrochromic device based on 4,4'-biphenyl dicarboxylic acid diethyl ester and phenothiazine molecule with carbon electrode. In this paper, effect of electrical double layer capacitance on coloration performance was analyzed and discussed.

However the device had poor color retention property because of Cu2 ion, which has a function as a redox reaction material on the counter electrode. To improve both good redox reactivity on the counter electrode and memory property, here we utilized Prussian Blue.
